About us: LAND MANAGEMENT TRAINING CENTRE(LMTC) is a former Survey Training Centre under the Survey Department of Nepal and then re-engineered as a national academic institution under the Ministry of Land Reform and Management of Nepal. LMTC is recognized for its great achievements in teaching, research and capacity development in the field of surveying and mapping science and geomatics engineering. Our main missions: students should be professionals, capable of acquiring knowledge in various sectors of geomatics engineering and geo-information science. At the same time, we educate them to translate their acquired knowledge and experience into practical applications for solving real-world problems. The centre has already trained more than 5,000 students at different levels through various types of training programmes in surveying and mapping, land administration, and various digital mapping technologies since its establishment in 1968.After completing a study at LMTC, students work with national and various international organizations but also has been creating a thriving network of international contacts at the same time.
