Prachesta has a vision to establish itself as an alternative education giving a space for youth and children alike through creative participatory methods Prachesta hones youth trainers who play a vital role in introducing participatory and student centered learning in schools and colleges. With an aim to harness the energy of youth into positive social change, Prachesta was founded on May 3rd, 2014. The primary objective is to build upon skills of youth and children with diverse interest and background. The goal of the organization is to make duty bearers accountable towards equitable education. The organization focuses in the thematic area of formal and non-formal education, livelihood, nutrition and policy-level advocacy. Prachesta believes formal education is the foundation to social conscientization. Alternative to the social problem is possible through sheer conviction and creativity. Therefore, different dimensions of education need to be addressed so as to achieve a holistic education.
