However, the excessive focus today of the development community on socio-political empowerment has not yielded desired economic transformation in Nepal. In reversing this development paradigm by prioritizing critically-needed economic empowerment, Daayitwa envisions an enterprising Nepal where every youth has opportunities for a prosperous future. Towards this vision, Daayitwa executes 3 projects that strive to: Promote inclusive and enterprise-led economic growth Strengthen governance of inclusive enterprise ecosystem Bolster community engagement for enhanced livelihoods Through the Rural Enterprise Acceleration Program (REAP), Daayitwa supports rural growth-oriented entrepreneurs to accelerate their businesses and incubate other entrepreneurs in their communities. Through the Governance and Research Program, Daayitwa leverages REAP learning to conduct research and advocate for economic policy reforms. Through the Civic Engagement Program, Daayitwa builds leadership capacity in business, policy and social innovators so they can accelerate their innovations and tackle systemic challenges for an enterprising Nepal.
