National Business Initiative Nepal is located in Kathmandu, Nepal on Nepal Chamber of Commerce Kathmandu, Nepal. National Business Initiative Nepal is rated 4 out of 5 in the category nonprofit organization management in Nepal. National Business Initiative (NBI) was founded by fourteen major Nepalese business associations in 2005 with the objective to strengthen the role and capacity of the Nepalese private sector to contribute to sustainable peace in Nepal. At its inception, it launched a national peace campaign in several cities and in the national media. Currently, NBI Nepal works under four working areas: 1. Economic Opportunities 2. Enabling Business Environment 3. Responsible Business Practice 4. Peace-building and Conflict Mediation NBI seeks to promote sustainable peace in Nepal through just socio-economic growth. Within the business community, it builds capacity and awareness regarding responsible and conflict-sensitive business practices, social entrepreneurship and good stakeholder relations of businesses. With other partners it involves in advocacy and initiatives for peace-building.
